When it comes to sports, hitting or throwing a ball as far as you can is always entertaining to watch. What if you had the opportunity to root for several different athletes do what they do best, while having the ability to make some money off of it? A lot has to break in the right for this to cash, but the biggest payouts tend to be unlikely in nature.
1.) Marcell Ozuna Hits the Most Home Runs in 2024
Ozuna is having a great year. A really great year. He is among the league leaders in batting average, home runs and RBIs. The issue for him is Aaron Judge, Shohei Ohtani, and Gunnar Henderson have all outslugged him, at least so far. Ozuna has a career high of 40 home runs, which he hit last season at age 32. If he can catch fire for Atlanta during the second half of the season (he would really need to outpace those big bats ahead of him) it could be possible. Some well-timed slumps to his foes would also be a big help as well.
2.) Josh Allen Leads the NFL in Passing Yards in 2024
Josh Allen has one of, if not the most, powerful throwing arms in the NFL. That is not really news to anyone. He has managed to throw over 4,200 yards in each of his last four seasons and has just missed some passing yards titles in the process. What likely hurts Allen is his proclivity to run the football, which probably has taken a lot of pass attempts off his ledger. The silver lining, and what could help Allen reach heights he has never reached before, is the fact that Allen, who enters his age-28 season, may need to rely less on his legs in order to prevent injury.
3.) Brooks Koepka Wins the 2024 Open Championship
Koepka is no stranger to winning a big golf tournament, having 9 PGA Tour wins in his career. He has not been at his best in 2024, but that does not mean he cannot turn it on during this July championship. Currently listed at 40-1, Koepka would be the biggest challenge to hit in this parlay.
