Talent comes in many different shapes and sizes, and more importantly, many different locations. Players that have shown promise before, and teams that have shown promise before, will always leave you wondering if and when they will reach their full potential. This parlay is full of players and teams that are just like that.

1.) T.J. Watt to Record 20+ Sacks in 2024

Watt, now 29-years old, has shown flashes of dominance over any competition he has faced, when healthy. It may sound like a cliche, but het truly the only thing that has managed to slow him down is himself. T.J. Has led the league in sacks on three separate occasions, and has exceeded 20 sacks on one occasion, in 2021. He did have 19 last season, where he missed 2 games so it is definitely possible that a full season would have seen him exceed that number. If healthy, Watt may be able to hit the 20 sack mark once again.

2.) The Seattle Mariners to Win the 2024 World Series

To go where no Mariners team has gone before? Why not? While the Mariners have never even made the World Series before, the only current team in Major League Baseball to not at least win their league pennant. The Mariners have been able to reverse their bad luck as of recently, ending what was the longest playoff drought in sports by claiming a Wild Card spot in 2022. Now, with a bunch of young, talented arms, an underachieving, yet talented offense, and a division lead, the path to the postseason may become clearer as the summer months become fall.

3.) Jaxson Dart (Ole Miss) Wins the Heisman Trophy

Dart, an entering his fourth collegiate season, has the keys to a high powered Ole Miss offense. Ranked the 12th best offense in yards per game in 2023, Dart looks to take another step forward in 2024. Depending where you look, most preseason publications have Ole Miss finishing top 10 in offense this season, and all roads to that success will lead through the big arm of the senior Jaxson Dart.

4.) Alec Bohm Wins the 2024 Home Run Derby

Currently ranked as the 8th of 8 in terms of betting odds to the win the derby, anything is possible, when it comes the All-Star Break shenanigans. Bohm currently has 11 home runs and has a career high of 20, but truly anything is possible when it comes to what ultimately comes down to batting practice. Pete Alonso does take this seriously, and he wants nothing more than a 3-peat, so that will be a challenge for Bohm in round 1.
