An aging Super Bowl champion in Matt Stafford has had statistical success when healthy, and Jordan Love truly looked like the Quarterback Green Bay hoped they had in waiting. Who will put together a better statistical season in 2024?

Passing Yards: Matthew Stafford

The 36-year old Stafford nearly threw for 4,000 yards in 2023, all while missing 2 games. He has over 56,000 yards in his potential hall of fame career, and has managed to do so on some less than talented teams. Now, with Cooper Kupp and another year with Puka Nacua, Stafford may be able to have a massive season, if everyone remains healthy.

Rushing Yards: Jordan Love

Stafford has never been much of a runner, totaling just 1315 yards over the span of 15 years. Love hasn’t shown to be much of a runner either, but managed nearly 250 yards on 50 attempts in 2023. The edge goes to Love.

Touchdowns: Jordan Love

Love cleared 30 touchdowns with a bunch of receivers that had no real track record of anything prior to 2023. He has added a running back, in Josh Jacobs, who scores exclusively on the ground. Expect him to air it out more with context in 2024.

Interceptions: Matthew Stafford

Stafford is a risk taker, a gunslinger and has had success with playing this style of ball. It leads to a lot of passing yards, but also a lot of interceptions. It’s a part of what makes him effective, but he has led the league in picks before. The arm isn’t what it was, so that may lead to more in 2023.
