As we go through the top players to keep an eye on in 2024, it is important to note how truly unpredictable an NFL breakout season can be. Some players were blue chip prospects, ones that the entire league expected to hit the ground running. Others were undrafted and not on anyone’s radar. Usually, a breakout star falls somewhere in between.
The next big thing in the NFL may be the running back for Las Vegas, Zamir White. White, a former 4th round selection out of Georgia, put up big numbers in a short time frame when taking over as the starter towards the end of 2023. He will now have the opportunity to really blow up, with Josh Jacobs departure to Green Bay opening up the starting role for White. Jumping into what could end of being a big season for Zamir, we will do a dive into some existing 2024 prop bets.

White ran wild when given the opportunity to start for Vegas, clearing 100 yards twice in his last 4 games. Those 4 games of reference were also where White got the bulk of his total carries, so more playing time should equal more breakout games. If that was not enough, Antonio Pierce remaining his head coach may help him continue to get his opportunities.
10+ Rushing Touchdowns in the 2024 Season

It is true that White only managed 1 touchdown in 2023, and it occurred in a game where everyone pretty much scored, the future may be kinder to him. The former Pro Bowl running back, Josh Jacobs, had success as during his Vegas career, scoring between 6 and 12 touch downs in every season of his career. While I am not saying White has the same ceiling as Jacobs, it is important to know that this franchise has been able to have success at the running back position.

Rushing Yards Total 775.5

White managed to put up 451 rushing yards, with all but 54 of them coming in his final four games of the season. Averaging out those numbers over the course of a full season would lead to an incredible, maybe even OPOY caliber season. This makes 775 yards feel like a walk in the park, considering what White has shown in his brief stint in the NFL.
