Cubs ace Justin Steele takes on Taj Bradley, as Tampa Bay looks to climb out of last place in the American League East.
Bradley, a former high-ranking prospect for the Rays, has had a challenging start to his major league career. About to pitch in his 30th career game (28th start), Bradley has posted a 5.49 career ERA. He does have massive strikeout prowess, averaging over 11 strikeouts per 9 innings at age 23. Tampa Bay as a whole has lost 5 of their last 6 games.
Luckily for them, Chicago has not fared much better, losing 4 of their last 6. Both of these organizations have disappointed as of now, under shooting their expectations of contending for their respective divisions.
