Former Kansas State University Quarterback, Will Howard, is going to win the Big 10 and more for the Ohio State Buckeyes in 2024-25.

Howard took a leap forward in the 2024 College Football season, throwing for 24 Touchdowns while also rushing for 9. 2024 was his best statistical season of his collegiate career, while also leading K-State to 9 wins. Leaving Kansas for Ohio State will also give him a more talented offensive line and wide receiver group, although he did just miss Marvin Harrison Jr.

At KSU, Howard did have an elite wide receiver option that he could pepper with 1,000 yards. His tight end, Ben Sinnott, actually led the team with receiving yards with 676. This likely will change in Columbus, even with the departure of Marvin Harrison Jr. Next man up, Emeka Egbuka, who finished last season with 515 yards, is projected to be a potential top-5 receiver in college. This is a luxury that Howard did not have during his time at K-State.

Ohio State is currently the favorite to win the Big Ten, and if Howard is the man to get them there, he may be on stage at the end of the season giving his Heisman speech, or at the very least in the final four.

Gambling wise, it is a great opportunity to bet Will Howard now before he wins the job in Columbus officially. He is currently expected to be the number one quarterback on the depth chart and is listed at +1500 on Draftkings Sportsbook to win the Heisman.
